University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) is India's and Pan Asia's first Energy & Core Sector University. Robotics & Mechatronics engineering courses conducted at UPES

University of Petroleum & Energy Studies is the well known institute that conducts a wide variety of engineering courses at its facility at Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Engineering has consistently been associated with innovation, and it is no surprise that new engineering-centric fields that cater to new requirements of the masses are coming up.

One of the most prominent upcoming fields at the Bachelors’ level is the B. Tech. in Mechatronics Engineering. It is a program that inculcates multidisciplinary skills pertaining to the mechanical, electronics, control, computer and systems design engineering domains.

The purpose of this course is to equip the students with the knowledge to construct & run production lines & automated processes that make use of computers and micro-controllers. Apart from these, the students also gain proficiency in programmable logic controllers, programming, industrial sensors, hydraulic, pneumatic & electric drives, design of mechanical structures and mechanisms & knowledge of manufacturing processes.

An excellent course that engineers can pursue at Masters Level is the M. Tech. in Robotics Engineering. The students enrolled in this course are furnished with knowledge and skills related to electromechanics, robotics sensors & instrumentation, robotics fabrication, artificial intelligence and robotic vision. With expertise in these lines of work, the students attain the skills required to carry out all tasks involved with this field with maximum efficiency.
